After School Meals
Neighborhood House provides free after school meals to children 18 years old and under. Meals are served from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Children can arrive at 3:30 for tutoring and activities before the meal. Volunteers are needed to help with the after school meals program. With the help of 13 local churches and CEFCU bank, families can come to Neighborhood House every Sunday for a meal. Meals are served at 12:15 p.m. This program is funded and operated by volunteers. For information about serving meals, contact Vern Eroh 309-370-7778.
Summer Feeding Program
Neighborhood House provides free lunch daily to children during the summers. Lunch is served from Noon to 1 p.m. during the summer break established by School District 150. Children are also encouraged to stay for enrichment activities following lunch.
Neighborhood House Food Pantry
1st and 3rd Tuesday of Every Month
9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Hours are until noon or until 20 boxes have been distributed
- Participants will need to show a government-issued ID
Diaper and Formula Pantry
1st Monday of the Month
- Participants will need to show a government issued ID and either a birth certificate or a medical card as proof of guardianship.
